9/17: The Apprentice. Apprentice Sheet

9/18: Begin going over job description sign ups and cover letters and resumes. Start going over cover letters and allow students to continue to work on logo, slogan and company name.

9/19: VE Scavenger
hunt and show other websites and who we are competing against.
9/20: Present all logos and slogans in poweroint presentation. Each presentation should be turned in HardCOPY!
9/21: Finish the Apprentice and vote on all logos, slogans, and business card.

Week 2:

9/10: Fill in ROP forms. Pass out brainstorm sheet. No idea is a bad idea. Rules of brainstorming. Business selection
will be conducted in your groups and then present to the class your ideas in the form of a powerpoint. In groups of 3-5 select products or services that we could offer. Show some examples of what other classes have done. You will be making a 10 minute power point presentation in a group of 5 using your persuasion skills to persuade us that this is the idea we will be doing. Do Who? What? Service or a product type of business?

9/23: Surf with Mr. P at Carls Jr.
10/8: VP and CEO training.
11/28-11/29: Bakersfeild.
3/1-3/3: SFC trade fair show.

9/11: Work on business ideas while I am gone.
9/12: BEGIN PRESENTATIONS:
I. Intro
A. Is this a service or product based?
B. Who will be the buyers?
C. Are there local businesses or partners we could learn from?
II. Persuasion: Prove it to us.
III. How we help or support the community/school
III. Conclusion summarize and convince us this is what we should do!

9/13: Fall Recess day.
9/14: Vote for business. Logo and slogan workday. Groups of no more than 2. Each group is required to come up with at least one logo and one slogan and one company name.


Week 1:

9/6: Where are you? DAUNTING! Dates to remember. Take out a sheet of paper and write down business ideas on one half and on the bottom half write the dates for our trips.
